Our stunning, handmade, three legged stools are all made using sheepskin from our own flocks of native Dartmoor sheep. The beautiful wooden legs are hand-turned by a local, Devon based carpenter using solid oak. The sheepskin pad is stuffed with offcuts of sheepskin so they hold their shape and are completely sustainable. The oak legs are completely removable and easy to attach.
The sheepskin used for these stools is from our flocks of native Whiteface Dartmoor sheep. We occassionally cross some of our Whiteface Dartmoor's with Bluefaced Leicester sheep. Bluefaced Leicesters are a type of longwool sheep with a very soft fleece. When crossed with our beautiful tight curled Whiteface Dartmoors it creates a really soft fleece with finer silkier, loose waves.
